LACORS is pleased to announce the National Medical Weighing Project. Running for the financial year 2008/09, this UK-wide project will improve the standards of weighing equipment and practice in UK hospitals. This initiative is designed to encourage local authority trading standards officers to work in partnership with their local hospital trusts. In doing so, it is hoped they will forge lasting relationships to deliver improvements to patient care.
