The Local Government White Paper published in October 2006 highlighted the importance of Local Area Agreements (LAA’s) in the identification of local priorities and the delivery of quality services.

LACORS are currently in the process of identifying the current relationship with and future impact of LAA’s on regulatory services and have developed a ‘Rough Guide’  which outlines the basic principles of LAA’s and their relevance to local regulatory services.
